Saturday night we went to the Tech football game (my first one ever) to watch Jared re-enlist in the Army. He was super excited because a 2-star general was coming to re-enlist them.
After the re-enlisting we snuck over to go sit with Jared and had to keep an eye out for his Sergeants so he wouldn't get in trouble and have to do a ridiculous amount of push ups.
When it was finally dark out and Susan decided we should probably head back home we started to say our goodbyes. Jordan and Jareds goodbye was quick and painless a high five hug and a see ya later brother. Susan gave him and big hug then quickly went to her car to cry. When I gave him a hug all the tears that I had been fighting back all day came rushing out and I wouldn't let go of him I didn't want him to see me cry. Then Jordan came over and hugged us both trying to make us laugh. As I got in the car Jared came over to his moms window and said don't worry mom this is the last time you have to do this and she just rolled up her window and cried some more.
It was a hard car ride back we talked about anything and everything just to not think about it. Jordan kept cracking jokes to lighten the mood.
At least I have a sweet little man to snuggle with when i'm sad.
Me and Boo-Boo mis his daddy bunches!
